A year older (technically) and still unable.
I’m never going to finish Stand On Zanzibar.
I’m going to be 80, and nestled in a roving pile of my kitties, and I’m going to die having a few pages left.
I know it!
It’s my Everest, basically. Just hopefully without the amputated toes and oxygen deprivation.
-puts on metaphorical gear and hoists oxygen tank onto back- To Tibet!

Jude the Obscure was my Everest. And to be perfectly honest..I never reached the summit. Ilayda I’m not sure anyone ever told you this but you don’t actually have to finish the book to write something about it. Your a smart girl so I know you can definitely do it but you dont have too is all I’m saying. Sparknotes is a wonderful invention. Embrace it. But if your like me then your going to finish it anyway because you cant stand the idea of not finishing a book. I finally caved and didnt finish. Sue me. Either way…I KNOW youll be fine because your basically the smartest cat in our class. But shh…its a secret!
