I’m leaving for New York tomorrow morning, so I wanted to recap before I left. (We’re not flying, obviously, but buses just don’t have iconic ‘rules’.)

Stephanie and I presented today, and I think it went pretty well. Our videos weren’t working, but they’re up on our blogs, so you guys should look at them! I was getting really tired of presenting and talking by myself near the end, so sorry if I started talking in circles. Presenting is not exactly my cup of tea.

We’re starting Elizabethan drama soon, hoorah! I really want to do Faust, I hope my group wants to do it too. I never got to discuss it with you guys. I don’t care which one we get though, a drama’s a drama.

I’m sad that I’ll miss the Dr. Seuss presentation tomorrow, but I’m sure that Mary will tell me all about it, many times over, when I get back. :) So it’ll be just like I was there.

Monday had some interesting presentations. I actually want to look into Emily Dickinson now. For some reason, from the poems of her I have in this little kids book of classic poetry from when I was younger, I was under the impression she was one of those kinda stiff, nature-y poets. I like that (well, the nature part) usually… Death and immortality are better.

And T. S. Eliot is T. S. Eliot. My goodness, the guy’s poems started CATS!. He had me at hello. And I wasn’t let down at all, that poem was really… chilling and at the same time really pleasant to read.
